The Socorro Branch of the American Association of University Women (AAUW) includes members from Socorro, nearby towns and communities, and the local university campus. We are very fortunate to live in a city with a Science, Engineering, and Research University – The New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. Along with professional development, health, and safety, as well as outreach and education into our communities and campus, our branch also supports our local university and high school students each year through scholarships for higher education. We love being part of this community!
