Thank you for your interest in applying for the
AAUW Priscilla Gwin Memorial High School Scholarship
Application open dates: February 1st to April 15th, 2024
Deadline extended to April 22, 2024!
Applicants will be notified by May 15, 2024 of their award status
In order to apply for this scholarship, you must be:
- a female high school graduating senior within Socorro County: Socorro, Magdalena, or Alamo High Schools
- planning to attend a college or university in Fall 2024
For your application, you will be filling out a Google Form and submitting (uploading) required documentation within that form. To see what questions will be asked in the form, you can take a sneak peek at a printable version of the application here. However, only applications submitted through the Google Form will be accepted.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS to submit/upload with your application:
- Two Letters of Reference – one has to be from an academic source. (You may submit an optional third letter, but it’s not required.)
- High School Transcripts
- Any available Test Scores (ACT, SAT, etc.)
- Counselor’s Verification Form – this form must be downloaded and filled out by your school counselor.
Once you’ve submitted your application, you will be emailed a copy of your responses. You will be allowed to update your responses and add any additional documentation until the closing deadline of midnight, April 15, 2024. At that time, the form will be closed and no further changes may be made to your application.
