Welcome to the New Mexico Tech Scholarship Application Information page!
Thank you for your interest in applying for an AAUW NMT Scholarship. We annually award 3 or more scholarships from $500–$1000 each.
Applications will open soon for the 2024-2025 academic year – check back soon for more information
Application open dates: February 1st to April 15th, 2024
Deadline extended to April 22, 2024!
Applicants will be notified by May 15, 2024 of their award status
In order to apply for this scholarship, you must be:
- an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled full-time at New Mexico Tech
- be a member of the AAUW NMT Student Club and/or a student member of the AAUW National (this is free for NMT students)
- planning to continue your education at NMT in Fall 2024
For your application, you will be filling out a Google Form and submitting (uploading) required documentation within that form. Only applications submitted through the Google Form will be accepted.
REQUIRED DOCUMENTS to submit/upload with your application:
- One Academic Letter of Reference – this has to be from a NMT faculty or teaching staff member. (You may submit an optional second letter from a NMT faculty or staff member, but it’s not required.)
- NMT Transcripts – additional transcripts from other universities or colleges are optional.
Once you’ve submitted your application, you will be emailed a copy of your responses. You will be allowed to update your responses and add any additional documentation until the closing deadline of midnight, April 15, 2024. At that time, the form will be closed and no further changes may be made to your application.
