Thank you for your interest in applying for an AAUW Community Continuing Education Scholarship.
We will be awarding scholarships up to $1,000
Application open dates: February 1st to April 15th, 2024
Deadline extended to April 22, 2024!
Applicants will be notified by May 15, 2024 of their award status
In order to apply for this scholarship, you must:
- be a Socorro County resident
- plan to, or be enrolled in, a continuing education program, such as a degree, certificate, or professional development program
- be able to explain why your professional goals align to the goals of the AAUW (https://www.aauw.org/)
For your application, you will be filling out a Google Form. Only applications submitted through the Google Form will be accepted.
Once you’ve submitted your application, you will be emailed a copy of your responses. You will be allowed to update your responses until the closing deadline of midnight, April 15, 2024. At that time, the form will be closed and no further changes may be made to your application.
The professional program must be through an official organization that is able to receive funds on your behalf. If awarded this scholarship, we will work with you to get information about the official organization, and then we’ll disburse funds directly to them to be applied towards your educational expenses.
