Renew Your Membership

Ready to renew your membership in the AAUW Socorro Branch? Here’s our 2022-2023 letter to our membership, and instructions on how to renew.

It is AAWU Membership renewal season!

Thank you for being a part of AAUW for the 2021-2022 year.  Over the past year we raised funds to award six $1000 scholarships to Socorro County high school girls and NMT students, honored the memory of Barbara DuBois with our Fly-In Fundraiser at the Bosque del Apache Wildlife Refuge, and hosted the AAUW New Mexico State Convention. AAUW Socorro has several exciting upcoming events and fundraising opportunities planned in the coming year. We also welcome your suggestions at our monthly membership meetings, at any of our Members events, or anytime via email. We would love for you to participate and share your great ideas!

I would like to encourage you to renew your membership before July 31, 2022. This helps show to AAUW State and National that our local branch has a strong and committed membership.

This year’s total dues are: $90.00. ($67 National, $18 NM State, $5 Socorro Branch)

You can either renew online by following the steps below or if you prefer to renew by check please make the check payable to “AAUW Socorro Branch” and send it to: AAUW Socorro NM Branch, PO Box 62, Socorro, NM 87801

Online Membership Renewal steps:

  1. Go to https://my.aauw.org/NC__Login  If you have not logged in for a while, AAUW National changed their website and you will have to create a new  password. Click on the link that says “Forgot your password?” to create a new password and if you need an account there is a link on the page to help you create a new account.
  2. Once logged in the Personal Snapshot page contains your membership profile. Look at the tabs on the left of this page. There is a tab called My Memberships. Click on this tab.
  3. This page shows your membership types and dates with National membership at the top and the State and Local membership at the bottom. Click on the RENEW button. This page also offers a tutorial for membership renewal.
  4. The Membership Management page shows your information and this can be corrected here. Click on the NEXT button and this will walk you through more steps for verifying your highest earned degree, degree field and year earned.
  5. The next page in the Online Membership Management shows the National dues rates and asks to select a membership type. Click on the radio button for either Lifetime or National (yearly) and then click Next.
  6. The next page will ask you if you want to add Branch or State Memberships.  Select the appropriate radio button.  All online memberships can be paid together.
  7. To select the Socorro Branch Membership, scroll down to the Branch N-O section, and then scroll down to see NM8021 Socorro Branch and select that box. Then scroll all the way down to the bottom of the page and select Next.
  8. The next page will ask if you would like to make an extra contribution to AAUW’s  Greatest Need Program. Select the appropriate response for you.
  9. The following page will show your total dues as well as confirming your membership information, selection of payment type and billing address.
  10. This is a secure site and you can use your credit card. Once your credit card and billing information are completed click the Next button near the bottom of the screen.
  11. Your receipt will show on the next page. Feel free to print this receipt for your records.
